Dee Dee

We may not know exactly what breed this little girl is, but whatever she is, she is 100% adorable. That sweet puppy face is just begging to be covered in kisses!

Dee Dee is an energetic gal with a playful and affectionate nature. She loves people and never wants to be far from her human. Her endless curiosity means that she likes to be in the midst of any action and she enjoys “helping” her people with anything they might be doing. Even in the thick of play, she has time for a drive-by snuggle and a flurry of kisses for her person before setting back off on her puppy adventures.

While in foster, Dee Dee has been lucky enough to have a fellow puppy friend to wrassle and chase to her heart’s content. A tolerant playmate in her furever home who makes allowances for her puppy shenanigans and possesses enough energy to keep up with her love of fun would gain a faithful friend for life!

With very little experience living in a house, Dee Dee will need extra patience and time as she figures out potty training and crate training. She has been figuring out how to better use her “inside voice” each day but still needs allowances to make mistakes as she navigates her way through puppyhood. Having such sweetness and a loving soul makes her eager to please and so she will always be a Good Girl in our books.

Update May 29: Beautiful mystery-breed puppy Dee Dee has been doing very well learning how to live in a home. With structure and time, more and more of her sweetness is shining through.

Dee Dee is a boisterous puppy who loves meeting new people but has a special kind of loyalty to her chosen person. She is her foster mom’s little shadow and takes every opportunity to give plenty of kisses. Her particular brand of affection is never subtle. This loving girl is determined to always make sure you are very aware of her devotion.

As an excitable youngster, Dee Dee is still learning how to be a good friend to other dogs. A future playmate who can appreciate her playfulness and puppy energy while remaining patient enough to teach her how to have good doggy manners would be a dream for this friendly girl. She loves to play chase and never shies away from a wrestling match. Her speed and grace are quite surprising for a gangly puppy.

Crate training is going well for Dee Dee and she will happily head into her kennel in exchange for a snack. She has also been sleeping through the night which is always an endearing trait. Though she is willing to take peaceful naps in her kennel during the day, she still tends to show her vocal side if she feels she’s missing out on any fun. Her potty training is coming along but of course, as with all puppies, she will need gentle guidance to maintain and continue her learning.
