Maddie

This little Yorkie mix is looking for a home with a fellow dog willing to back her up as she builds up her bravery.

As a timid gal, Maddie can take a moment or two to settle into new environments. Even that strange dog she sees in the mirror can manage to spook her at times. Despite this bit of nervousness, Maddie is eager to bond with her humans. She is a snuggler at heart and appears to welcome any gentle adoration that is sent her way. Other dogs seem to help with her budding confidence so she would prefer a friend in her furever home to help teach her how to be a dog.

So far, Maddie has been non-reactive towards cats and will accept snuggles from kids if they aren’t overly eager. Being a bit hesitant around men means that Maddie will likely be quicker to bond with women. A lucky lady in need of a tiny fuzzy shadow would be perfect for Miss Maddie.

Outside can still be a bit of a scary place for Maddie at times, so, as her confidence improves so does her potty training. Some encouragement and support while she blossoms will help her house manners shine.
