Cayley is a beautiful Chinese Crested whose many recent milestones are worthy of celebration!

With limited experience around humans, Cayley will require an especially patient home where she can continue to open up and reach her goals at her own pace. Despite still being nervous about physical affection from humans, Cayley’s confidence has greatly benefited from being around other dogs. She has been learning to really enjoy her play sessions with her foster siblings and even had a tail wag for the resident cat.

While Cayley may take a bit longer than other dogs to connect with her people, there is always hope! As a great lover of food and fuzzy blankets, this deserving girl makes the perfect candidate for some good ol’ bribery. The way to a dog’s heart may not always be through their stomach but treats will never hurt your cause with this pretty lady. After all, she deserves a good bit of spoiling.

Update June 16: During her time in foster, Cayley the lovely Chinese Crested, has been allowed the time to decompress and focus on some self-care. She has managed to fill out a bit and now boasts a fine figure.

Having the company of the resident dogs in her foster home has been the support Cayley has needed to let her personality blossom. She loves having a playmate and would do best in a furever home with a friend. As she started out being very nervous and unused to human contact, a doggy buddy would help her feel safe and more confident.

Snacks have been making Cayley’s nighttime routine of getting into her pen a smooth operation. Treats and patience are what will help this beautiful girl be able to continue opening up. Next up is some harness training so that she can start slowly experiencing more of the world. Go Cayley!
