Introducing Lauren
Second in our squad of shy Shih Tzus, each looking for their very own happily-ever-afters, is the lovely Lauren!
Though she belongs to our Cautious Crew of particularly timid adoptables, Lauren is discovering that humans are actually kind of cool. She has taken to sitting with her foster mom and seeking out scritches. Although she is still a bit wary of men, she’s willing to settle for sitting with her foster dad when mom isn’t available.
Lauren can be a bit of a selective eater at times. Though possibly around 6 years old, she is still figuring out what she likes and doesn’t. Treats have been pretty hit or miss but chunks of meat have been deemed acceptable. Some may say she is picky but we think she just knows her worth!
This pretty girl has come so far since entering foster care. She still has some decompressing to do in her foster home but would like to have a patient furever home ready to love her when she is ready.
