Hazel

Hazel is a 3 year old Cockpoo and is very sweet and shy.We do not have much back history on her so we are learning as we go. What we know is what Hazel’s ideal home will look like.

• Other outgoing dogs in the home are a must. She loves the company of furry companions. She’s great with cats too!

• A family with patience and understanding that she is going to take some time to warm up to them and come out her shell. Once she does she’s your constant companion and always has the best tail wags. We have been told she is a bit standoffish with men but have not seen much of that yet in her new foster home. She spent the day hanging out with the teenager in the home and did great.

• A family willing to work on her kennel training. Hazel has a bit of separation anxiety when her people are not home. She is not destructive but does need to be kennelled to help with the anxiety. She’s not a huge fan of the kennel yet but her foster home is working hard with her on this and she’s doing well so far.

• A family who are more the home body type. She loves walks around the neighborhoods but does get car sick so would not make a great travel companion.
  
  Her foster home has lots of great things to say about her and how easy she has been to foster so I’m sure things will only get better as we go!
